Dear comrades,
The International Commission of the Young Communists of Belgium sends her comradely greetings to all participants of the second Party Congress of the Communist Party (Germany).
We applaud the KP for their great contributions to the German and international communist movement. Their valuable experiences in reorganising the vanguard of the revolutionary working class by building communist structures, developing a marxist-leninist understanding of the forces of imperialist capitalism and the working class in Germany, Europe and the world. First under the banner of the Communist Organisation (KO) and eventually with the formation of a party of a new type, the Communist Party.
Working towards ideological and practical clarity through an ever-developing understanding of Marxism-Leninism helps the party in becoming a leading force within the workers’ movement. Just as in Belgium, at the heart of European capital, bourgeois ideology has long tried to subordinate the working class. Yet the practical and theoretical shortcomings of opportunism, such as reformism, pacifism, social chauvinism and sectarianism, have always made them incapable of leading the working class to socialist revolution.
The Communist Party has shown itself, always willing to further develop and correct its tactics and strategy. Thus, we wholeheartedly put our faith in the participants of the second Party Congress, in discussing, taking lessons from these experiences, and adopting future-oriented policies. In particular the discussion of the new party programme is of great importance to us. A carefully crafted programme, including the strategy and tactics for the ultimate victory of the proletariat, will strengthen the party and its ability to rally the working class behind its banners.
We have a shared task of organising and educating the vanguard to build the communist party under ever intensifying imperialist contradictions. We will be closely following further developments in the organisation of a youth front of the party to exchange mutual lessons in regards to the relationship between youth, party, the working class and mass movements.
We are honoured to share this moment, to learn and develop with you. May the Congress be fruitful and strengthen your forces and inspire sincere communists around the world.
